Course Description

We tend to think of air temperature as being the primary factor determining how comfortable an occupant is in a space, but air temperature alone can be deceiving.  The temperature of the surfaces around occupants matters a great deal as well.  This course describes the concept of mean radiant temperature and shows how it applies to enclosure design and thermal comfort.
